Unable to play content after latest update

Hi,

I recently updated my Plex server, to which, I am unable to play media which was working before the update. I have tried a few things to get it back working, from clearing the codecs folder to clearing cache, along with the usual troubleshooting. I am also unable to play the files on my actual server itself, getting the spinning wheel when trying to do so.

Any ideas on how to resolve this would be great, thankfully I have other content on my plex to watch but ideally, I would like to get this fixed.

  1. Ensure your server is configured for debug, not verbose, level logs.
    Settings → Server_Name → General + Show Advanced

  2. Restart Plex Media Server, give it a couple of minutes to fully start.

  3. Recreate the problem

  4. Download the server log files (Setting → Troubleshooting) and upload them to the thread.

Plex Media Server.log is full of transcoder errors. However, the info wrapped and the beginning of the problem is not visible.

Please reboot your server, re-create the problem, and pull a new set of server logs. Upload the entire ZIP file please.

If you’re unable to play the files directly on the server, you might have a drive failing. Is this applicable to every media file on that drive?

Its random files on random seasons. They play locally, i.e vlc player but not on the plex

Update:

Everything appears to be working on my partners iPhone 10, all the seasons from the shows not working on my devices with no issue. My iPhone 13 is not working. I am also still unable to play on the plex via multiple pc’s, and various devices.

Any ideas on how to resolve would be great as I am tempted to cancel my membership and move to another brand if this is not rectified.
