I run a Windows PC with a Plex server on it, which generally serves the connected TV through the Android app (it’s an Android TV).
I sleep the PC when we’re not watching something.
When I wake the PC, I frequently cannot access my Library through the app on the TV and sometimes from the Web browser on the windows machine itself.
When I log on to the server side from Windows, it says “not authorised”. The only way to get around this is to right-click in the sys tray and “exit” plex media server. I then wait around 10 seconds and start it again. Sometimes it takes a few times before I can see my media, even through the browser on the windows machine!
I’ve read through the support topic on being locked out but I’m not sure this is it. The TV uses a different account to the server but forgetting the TV for a moment, it’s when I load the Plex server on the PC that it says “not authorised”.
What’s wrong and how can I stop this from happening?
