Server "Not authorized" after waking from sleep

Server Version#: 1.42.2.10156
Player Version#: 4.157.0

After waking a Windows based PC from sleep I am not able to see any of my media and instead it offers “Not Authorized" message suggesting I need to claim the server. Logging into the server remotely, Plex is in fact running.

Running the Plex Web interface on the server locally, I get the same message, “Not Authorized”. I can confirm the web interface is connected to the loopback IP. When accessing the Settings Tab, my server is in fact missing. As a result, none of my Googling “not authorized” Plex server resulted in anything that can be followed.

If I simply restart Plex Server, the problem immediately goes away. Plex must be running on some level as the web interface is hosted from that location. Even still the issue persists on the local server loopback.

I’m not clear as to the root of the issue. Any guidance?

This is a known issue. No estimate on a fix.

This issue is effing ridiculous. How is this happening for any length of time?

I’m so sick of dodging updates as they add things I never use and break things I do. This requires I manually close and reopen Plex. I just use an outside resource to do it.

HEY PLEX! FIX THIS TRASH.

im having same issue is there a work around?
