Sorry if I am not posting all info correctly. I am having trouble with my remote access. Everything was fine for some time and now I get the error “Not available outside your network”. I am using xfinity router/modem to provide internet. Trying to figure out how to re set up it again. In addition having trouble getting my smart tv to find my library files. Everything is fine on my computer I use for my plex server, I see the library files when I log into plex on the web, the movies stream, but can’t get things working on other devices, and remote. Please help, need this fix once in for all.
Xfinity has “Advanced Security” you may have to disable. some info is linked towards of the bottom of https://support.plex.tv/articles/200931138-troubleshooting-remote-access/#toc-2
clients need to connect to the server. if something blocking like the advanced security mentioned above then they will not be able to connect.
