I’ve used Plex for years and when ever using the Android app on mobile away from home and wanting to direct play from my PC it only connects randomly and only plays at about 480p.
I have uninstalled the app, the media server been through every single setting numerous times, looked in YouTube and in here, disabled the Hub and Windows firewall wall and used Manual specify port due to fact It goes green sometimes for remote access then goes Red saying ’ Not available outside your network’
When I watch say a 1080p streamed show it plays at 480p ish saying direct play failed gone back to transcoding!
It’s so hit and miss ie 50/50 if I can get the app to connect to the PC at home.
Surely someone must know what this issue is please it’s driving me insane!!!
