i need help i am new to all this.
i have my plex server set up. i cant get the remote access to work. it says i may have multiple routers hooked up
i have a router and a modem. my server is ethernet into the router and i have port forwarded in the router and still not working
my router is a netgear nighthawk
Make sure that your server has only one network connection. If it has both Ethernet and WiFi, disable the WiFi.
Inspect the properties of the network connection in Windows. It must be set to “private”, not “public”.
After checking the above, stop and restart the server using its task tray icon.
