I tried both restarting Plex and disable/enable remote access without success.
@homersheineken if it still not working for you may be a different issue. Can you message me your server logs
@BigWheel Thank you for the assistance.
This is from ~/Library/Logs/Plex/ without the time stamp in the file name. The other is from your link.
Let me know if you need others
Plex Media Server Logs_2026-09-03_15-00-04.zip (4.0 MB)
Plex Media Server.zip (4.1 MB)
@homersheineken can you please disable verbose logging, restart your server wait a couple minutes and grab logs again.
Sure thing and thanks again. Please see attached.
After restart I was able to connect with Plexamp while on wifi, but not on 5G
I move this to a separate topic so others would not get a bunch of notifications.
In your servers network settings what is Client Network set to?
Plex is detecting a double-NAT situation. This happens when you’ve multiple routers in the network. Also, the server is connected to two different subnets.
Can you provide additional details on your network setup and how the Plex server is connected?
I am also having the same issue. same client network setup
The Mac Plex server is connected via a wifi connection and hard wired connection to router.
The internet comes via a modem/router combo. We also have a separate router attached to it (Eero) for further range.
Even when outside Remote Access worked, it always said in red “Not available outside Network”. I currently have IPs for Plex for Private and Public. We’ve had this network setup for years. Only recently has Remote Access not worked.
