I can’t connect to the Plex server from my ATV. To watch from the sofa I use the iPad instead and stream to the ATV. That works fine. It even works better than the iMac the server is running on!
The ATV says the server is not available. I used to run Plex about a year ago. Now it doesn’t work. It displays the wrong e-mail adress as user and I can’t change it. When I click continue, nothing happens.
I deleted the app and re-installed it. The wrong user was still there!
I then created a home user with that wrong e-mail. It required a PIN-code.
The server says ”waiting for acceptance”. I entered the pin code in the ATV.
No change. The server is still unavailable.
I then created a ”managed user”. That did not requore a pin code or acceptance.
No change. The server is still unavailable.
I have two friends in other cities that can watch my movies, but I can’t!
That really sucks…
I have the latest OS versions everywhere. And on the iPad it works fine.
