Not generating video preview thumbnails

Hello,
I am running Plex via OBI on XigmaNAS server. My setup was running perfectly until I experimented with other features and Plex stopped working. I had to completely uninstall Plex, but I copied the Plex Media Server folder to save/restore my database, etc…

I successfully reinstalled Plex and copied my Plex Media Server folder back, and my library is exactly as it should be. All files are accessible…YAY! I’m back up and running. However…any new shows added to the library fail to generate video preview thumbnails (which previously worked great). I have quadruple-checked that the settings are ticked to generate thumbnails, analyzed the folder, scanned the library…even performed the Plex dance, and even upgraded to the newest Plex release. Unfortunately the thumbnails still fail to generate.

Any help is appreciated. If there are specific logs needed please let me know & I’ll upload them.

Double check if the user running Plex have writing rights on Plex folders.

This appears to have fixed the issue. Not sure why permissions were not granted when I re-installed though.
