My dads account which I added to my server does not receive any Emails to his hotmail from plex regarding password reset or email confirmation.
Microsoft email services appear to have a policy in place which delays emails from plex significantly.
Any attempts to investigate this behaviour have been unsuccessful so far.
My recommendation would be to wait a few days or to use a different email provider.
He never received them. Tried a couple month ago and gave up, created a new account and used the old one as a profile on my server.
But I wanted to recover his account.
Suggest your dad contact our billing department, that handles accounts
