Password Reset email not being received

Hello,

Hoping someone can determine the reason for the below issue.

I have a friend who I share my Plex library with and he has forgotten his Plex password.

He has tried the password reset option a number of times but hasn’t received the email from Plex. I also went to the site and entered his email address as it shows under Sharing in my Plex server and he still didn’t receive the email.

Can you check if he accidentally deleted his account or if the email address has been blocked for some reason?

If it was deleted, please restore the account. If it’s being blocked, please provide details on what the SMTP error your mail server is receiving so he can have his mail service check and/or correct their side.

His email address is “j-------------------”

(I’m not seeing any manner available for providing the email address securely so it’s not visible to the world).

The email provider of your friend has classified emails from noreply@plex.tv as ‘unsolicited’.

554 5.7.1 Mail (id-54812-02794) appears to be unsolicited, please ask to have your sender email whitelisted.

Your friend needs to whitelist plex.tv (or at least noreply@plex.tv) or he won’t be able to receive any emails from Plex.

I am also having the same issue. I have made sure that the plex.tv is added to my whitelist, but I am still not getting the email.

I have tested seding emails to this account from various sources and they come through fine and the plex account has been added to the whitelist.
