Not receiving verification email

I know many have brought up this issue before. I have checked my junk email. I am trying to verify my email address (I actually need to change it). I don’t receive the verification email required to verify my email so I can change it to a new one.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I received some of the messages after 2 hours.

I’m also not receiving any emails from Plex to verify my email address. The UI tells me a verification email has been sent, but hours later still nothing.

same issue here, I even opened another account with a totally new email address, did not work as well. I did receive a welcome mail, but email verification was impossible too.

Same issue here. I’ve tried two different addresses, and I’m not receiving the verification email on either. Got the password reset email, etc.

I’ve got exactly the same issue, verification email hasn’t arrived…

This seems to be all automated account-based emails from Plex that are affected.
The “Reset Password” link is not actually sending an email, and neither is the “Verify Email” button in the Admin settings.

I’m guessing the email “gun” Plex is using for overloaded by every user trying to use it at the same time.

Can someone from Plex support staff acknowledge this is a problem and being worked? It seems enough people are having the same issue. I too cannot get a validation email and have checked the likely suspects as to spam etc.

Still no word from Plex. I wonder if they actually have staff.

My verification emails (six of them) came in 10 minutes ago.

Same, as of a few minutes ago I am now receiving a bunch of emails, including the initial email about the breach

That’s fine if you just want to update your password. The problem reported was about updating your email, which required action from the missing verification emails.

I’m also using a secondary account (locked out of the primary after changing the password, doh!). Can’t get in to my server account. No password reset email coming through. Will give it a while longer then consider my options.

Not working for me, since any account change needs password reset. Btw I have 2 accounts, the one got the pass reset email directly, the other has not gotten it yet (10h and counting).

Same here. I have two accounts. the one that works is gmail account, the one that does not is my personal website email address (the one I use for paid accounts). It will not receive a plex email. In order to impliment 2FA we need to verify the email.

the point is you dont have to change or verify email when you change password on your account in Plex.

I do not get the verification email, that I can enable 2FA. I have a “(at)web.de” mail address. Or is only “.com” mailing addresses allowed?

It finally worked today and I have been able to verify my email
