Cannot get verified email

I’ve gone in previously and now today to request the “verification email” so I can verify my email and enable 2FA and I have never received the verification request??

Same here. I’ve tried this before and gave up. Nothing in Spam folder either. I know the email address is correct and I get the newsletters with no issues. :man_shrugging:

Same here. It’s the reason I’m here in the forum. Glad I’m not the only one at least.

Yup! Same here. Changed email, tried verifying multiple times, nothing. Believe it was the same reason my email wasn’t verified in the first place. @tutanota.com email, if that makes any difference.

i used the microsoft auth app.

i just put in the code from there. i didnt have an option to use email.

same submitted twice this morning, no reset email. Would be great if Plex would let us know what to expect here…

That is your 2FA, your email is already authorized. I’m trying to authorized my email to then enable 2FA…

my email isn’t getting verified.

I’ve got an mail from plex with an confirmationlink but it didn’t work for me when i try the step to send the confirmation mail again.
It allways redirects me to the page where i can set a new password.
Is it required to set a new password in this process to get email verified ?
What can i do ?

Same. I tried multiple times to verify my email, even changed my email address. I’m still not getting the verification email.

Same here, verification email never comes. Their SMTP is likely overloaded due to the password reset requests after the breach.

WTF me either.

I am told that Account email verification is currently not possible until the password has been changed.

Do also expect delays in email delivery of up to several hours, as the systems are getting hammered right now.

Otto, should we wait, or should we try again? I don’t want to hammer the system needlessly, but have no way of knowing if my requests from 7am this morning are still queued…

My primary subscribed/paid Plex account uses a yahoo email domain, but I have multiple free accounts for family members just for viewing. I’ve received password reset emails, and been successful in resetting passwords for those accounts (all Gmail), but still have not received additional emails in the yahoo account except the initial notification about the breach.

I know it’s not going to spam, and the 2 potential @plex email addresses used by plex (hello@mail.plex.tv & noreply@plex.tv) are working as I’ve received the initial notification without issue and have been receiving mails from both in recent past.

I have disabled my server because it is unclaimed until I can log in with my paid license account.

I’ve tried re-sending the reset email since the first attempts were more than 7 hours ago but still nothing…

Same issue here and also using a Yahoo email. I’ve tried last night and today and still no verification email.
