This is a bit of a special series. I have set Plex to record the 2018 Olympics on CBC. There are 4 episodes every day (2am, 6am, 3pm, and 7pm) for the duration of the Olympics. When I enable the Series recording, it shows all 4 episodes in my Recording Schedule. After it completes recording the first episode of the day (2am), it then removes the remaining episode on that day from the schedule, while the schedule for tomorrow still shows the 4 episodes. It is like it is set to only record 1 episode a day. Each episode does have a unique description, and I assume a unique program ID.
In trying to resolve this, I went and disabled the series recording, and individually select multiple episodes on each day. When doing it this way, then all selected episodes on the same day are recorded.
Since this is a short term recording schedule, I am not worried about it; but I did want to bring it to the attention of the Plex developers, in the event there is an issue with show selection logic. I am currently using Rogers Digital Cable for my program guide information, and I am recording from CBC.
