Not seeing media server - I think

I've just installed ver 5 on my 256MB PI ( ver 6 wouldn't boot - I might have another go on another SD card) and although I get an ip address and I can connect an login to plex  - I can't see any of the media on my plex media server.

I only get the option to "watch later" or search in the menu.

 

I can ping the rasplex pi from the media server (windows 7) and within media server plex I can see the name "plexhomethreate on rapl" - which I can disconnect as the only option.

 

I've tried turning off windows firewall for the local network  - no joy.

 

I did initially see some media when I first installed rasplex but after powering it up for the 2nd time I see nothing, I've tried to reset everything back to defaults but no joy.

 

Suggestions ?

RasPlex doesn't work on 256MB Pi's, sorry.

Hmmm.. .thanks for the reply.

I thought that although the 512MB PI was recommended  - I didn't see anything about the old 256 not running rasplex.  Perhaps this should be made clearer on the home page.

Still  - this might be the final reason that I need to give to upgrade to a PI-2 :-)

RPi2 is a very capable system for running RasPlex, the quad core CPU and 1Gig memory certainly do give it a major boost.
