Seen this discussed in other places but not for win 11. I did the password change today which went fine; re-linked to my two Samsung TV’s ok ; but upon going into my server from plex media player or the tv’s I cannot access my media on any of my 5 hard drives. Keep getting told to get the server which I have already updated. Saw something about claiming or reclaiming my server but that is a bit over my head. I strictly use plex as a media player and have not delved into setting. It has just worked for me.
Any help that I can understand would be appreciated.
FWIW - I was having this problem too. I was opening Plex Media Server from a browser, but not from the system tray. Once I used the try it found my server
If your experimenting somehow included deleting stuff from the registry, you probably have deleted your server’s identity.
Which means that your libraries now have a different identity too.
Since some of your Plex clients appear to still have libraries pinned which are connected with the old server identity, you need to reset their left side bar(s)/favorited libraries.
