Plex server appears to be non-existent even though it is running

Server Version#: 1.30.1.6497-5fc2i0894
Player Version#: 4.87.2

I have no idea as to what happened but even though the Plex server is running, I no longer have access to “Your Media”. Now I am presented with the screen that says “Get Plex Media Server”. I set this up November of 2021, well over a year ago now and had access to all my media on 2 of my tv’s, my smart phone and this here laptop. Funny thing is I had it on my firestick and someone hit logout, but when I logged back in, it was all gone.

can you still access your server using the bundled version of Plex Web, e.g. by opening http://127.0.0.1:32400/web in a browser on the Windows machine hosting your server?

If the server is unclaimed, you might need to re-link it to your account (Settings > [Server Name] > GeneralSign In).

Hey Tom80H, I can but it gives me the same things. I have no access to my media and it tells me to download the server.

I apologize, but I’m not following your instructions to re-link it to my account. When I go to settings, I don’t see any reference to a server name.

what number has the claimed="" attribute displayed on your screen when you enter http://127.0.0.1:32400/identity?

In case you’ve been working with different Plex accounts you might be signed in with a different account than the one linked to your server.
In anyway you might want to take a look at this procedure:

claimed=“1”

Let me take a look at the Locked out link you just sent too.

tom80H, thank you, thank you, thank you. You have righted my world for me. That document is what it took. I am going to save a copy of this locally for future reference. I truly appreciate your responding to my issue. Problem solved!
