Suddenly my server is gone. Can’t connect to it at all. Server is my XHD, directly into my laptop. Latest version of Plex, updated just to be sure. Worked great yesterday. No changes to my computer. I have verified everything that I can from the troubleshooting. It just won’t connect. I’ve rebooted my modem/router and restarted my laptop as well. It’s just like it’s gone. I do NOT want to make a new server because I will lose my playlists, collections, updated tags, etc. What is the remedy?

Can you still access your server through the bundled version of Plex Web (e.g. http://127.0.0.1:32400/wb if you’re on the same machine; http://[PMS IP address]:32400/web otherwise)?
Did you perhaps recently change your account’s password and check the option to sign-out all devices?
