Looks like my timing was perfect when I ditched the whole Android eco-system a couple of months ago? What with the Shield being the most over-hyped device I have ever encountered and the Galaxy’s getting, nay…needing to get ever faster to cope with the ever increasing bloatware/crapware they bestow on us.

I’m just glad I haven’t seen any ads so I can assume none are preinstalled and I am not link to anything(minus plex via apk), an updated google services via apk, and a old as dirt GPS tracker via apk, so hopefully I’m safe.
Unless you’re buying a phone from Leagoo or Nomu (yes, those are actually the brands in question), you’re probably fine.
glad it was resolved, could have been bloatware from the phone makers/ phone service, as others have suggested. in fact probably that.
Hmmm… Nobody is puzzled as to how he got his hands on a galaxy note 10? It’s not released yet.
