I was actually doing research on enabling Nvidia CUDA/NVENC transcoding for Emby but ran into Nvidia’s ffmpeg developer page. It mention Plex

Can we use a Nvidia enabled ffmpeg on Plex’s PMS to enable Nvidia HW transcoding?

Thats transcoding on the Shield what about if you have a gtx 1080 ti on a pc?

exactly, that’s for the Shield which uses their SoC (Tegra X1)

I am talking about PC GPUs on Linux/Windows PMS

So if Plex employees can’t answer with a “Yes” they don’t answer at all it seems.
