Thank you for the advice. I’ve been googling for the past few hours and your replies in the previous post gave me hope it may work: Adding a GTX 1050 on my QNAP TS-473 - Improved transcoding performance?
In the end, the upgrade from the 1050 to the 1650 may not be that big when it comes to transcoding versus using them in a gaming pc. Maybe I’m wrong. Best I can do is see if I can purchase an open box or used one to try.
