The 1030 can only decode, it doesn’t have the hw encoder.
Yep, i am encoding with the CPU and decoding with the GPU for the server with the gt1030 as mentionned in my first post 
. Still doesn’t explain why my GPU can’t andle 4k60 FPS HDR decoding without tone mapping for now.
