Hi all,
The problem I’m describing occurs when I’m using “Library” rather than “Recommended” and I’m viewing “Seasons” and sorting by seasons. I’ll try to describe the problem as best I can, please let me know if you need other information to help reproduce the problem.
When I use the old player on the Nvidia Shield (2017) and I watch, say episode 8 of season 1 of a TV show and I hit the back button twice (once to go back to the pre-play screen, and a second time to go back to the list of episodes for that season) the focus returns to episode 8 (the episode I’d previously selected). That’s been the default behavior for as long as I’ve used the player. The new player, however, returns the focus to episode 1, regardless of whichever episode I was watching previously. This is a nuisance, especially for TV shows that have a lot of episodes in a season (some of my kids’ cartoons have 78 episode seasons, for example).
Is there any chance the new player’s behavior could match that of the old player? I like the intro detection in the new player, but having my kid have to scroll through a bunch of rows of episodes to return to where she was at is kind of a hassle.
