Pressing "back" while watching show on Shield takes me to "home"

It used to take me back out to the season or movie info, or whatever the last menu was that I accessed the content from. Now it brings me all the way back to the “home” of the Plex app. How can I fix this?

Uninstalled and reinstalled the latest build plex client on the shield, and it has the same behavior. Is this a bug or unique to my setup? Should I sideload an older apk?

Have this behavior on Shield tube and also Shield Pro sometimes, but it goes away on the Pro

I have the tube and it always takes me back to the last place I was. So you are starting playback from the season or movie summary screen?

Yes, if I start playback from the season or movie summary, when I back out of the content, it goes to the home of the app, and it has the same behavior even if I have not started to play anything and have only entered the season or movie summary and then hit back.

I’m still having this problem. Does anyone know a fix? On the Shield Pro, it goes back to “home” when exiting any playing item.
