Is it possible for us, the user, to add fonts to the playerâs own internal âlibraryâ (like by copying a font file to a certain directory) so if we have fonts we come across often that are not muxxed in files, we can just add it and have it always available device-side?
I started testing this build since Iâm watching anime too. The one bug I seem to be getting is that no subtitles appear if I start the next episode from the play next screen. If I go back to the home screen and start the next episode from there subtitles appear normally.
Yes, I noticed this last night too. I guess I havenât been watching many shows on more than one episode at a time since I never saw it before.
On the plus side, I just checked and it looks like this most recent build resolved this issue I had with crashing from viewing the show page for one-season shows.
Are you playing on a SHIELD TV device? I think itâs happening due to the performance, MPV has a lot more resources to play with compared to the limits of Android.
Still looking into this, but havenât been able to replicate yet. Do you know where abouts in the file, the subtitles end up disappearing?
No I was playing it on my mobile device and when I said compared to a player like mpv I was talking about mpv on androidâŠthe file plays fine on mpv android.
Sorry I was referring to the limits of Java rather than the use of Android, however there is performance improvements in the latest libass which we arenât yet using. Hopefully the update will improve performance, if not there will be more optimisations in the future.
Thanks, I should of checked your previous message.
It seems I donât have the best timing with this getting buried underneath other replies lol. But if you could take a look when you have the time it would be great.
