Since Plex version 2025.16.0 was installed on my Android phone, I can no longer cast from my phone to my Nvidia Shield device (it was working well before the update).
Here’s what happens now: I can find my Nvidia Shield device when pressing the cast button in the app on my phone. After pressing it, Plex starts on my Nvidia Shield (I can see the logo). However, whenever I select a movie on my phone and start playing it while casting, I can only see a spinning circle on my TV, spinning forever. It’s impossible to cast any movies from my phone. The only way to watch movies on my TV now is to select the movie directly from the Plex app installed on the Nvidia Shield. I’m running the latest Plex Server version (1.41.6.9685).
