Hi All,
After updating my NVIDIA Shield and Plex/Media Server to the latest updates my Plex seems to have stopped working, it would not connect to my attached drive. I’m sure I checked after doing the updates and all was fine but i could be wrong. The next day however it wouldn’t show anything on my drive. I followed a suggestion on another topic on here which detailed steps to follow from NVIDIA which involved deleting cache and data from the server and the app.
After doing this and opening the app it set up another server and I wasn’t sure what to do but my list still showed the older server in the more section of the menu (but again not connecting). I decided to test the new server which didn’t work but today I noticed its now showing the TV shows but the old server is no longer in the list.
Is there a way to get my old server back? I’m not sure if I should have left it on for longer after updating the media server or if it was another issue but I can’t see it in the list and now in a panic I’ve lost everything.
Appreciate any help i can get.
