nVidia shield just pauses action - no pause icon, no resume

Hello,

I have a windows server for plex -nothing has changed on it. I have a plex media player that I had been using for years with no significant issues. A couple of days ago I got an update and it just pauses - maybe a few seconds into a movie - sometimes 20 minutes but there is no coming back. You can escape out but if you go back in - resume or start from the beginning the movie pauses and won’t continue. I’ve tried settings reboot and tried powering off the shield completely and powering it back up - same issue.

I can stream to my roku and oppo without issue from the same plex server. Is there a way to uninstall or reinstall the update? I hate to uninstall plex on the shield and start from scratch.

It only takes a couple minutes to uninstall and reinstall the the app. If you want to downgrade, that’s more complicated, but I’m sure somebody has outlined how to sideload somewhere on the forums.

You could also try and gather logs and maybe a dev can see what’s going wrong:
