LG TV, 4k and HDR enabled, on NVIDIA SHIELD. I will be playing a show, and it will show 4k direct/no transcode. Each time I either click ‘Next’ or let it count down and go to the next show, it will go to 4K transcode every time (or 1080p transcode if not 4k, but always transcode).
If I stop the playback, and click on the episode directly and start it, goes back to direct stream no transcode.
This doesn’t occur on the web player or my Plex App for Windows and Plex App for Linux, just on the NVIDIA Shield. Happens on both my Pro and my regular (2019 versions).
More just an inconvenience vs a real issue but after awhile gets to be a little annoying.
Tried searching but ‘next’ and ‘transcode’ and ‘shield’ comes up with a massive amount of posts…
