I have an HEVC 2160p CBR encoded video with TrueHD 7.1 audio in MKV and it played thru on the NVidia Shield fine until one point and said there wasn’t enough bandwidth and the video hung. Then if I jumped forward 10 seconds it went way father forward and continued playing. Everytime I’d go back to this it would do the same thing in the same spot. Figured the file was bad so was going to convert it again but in playing thru on Plex on my Windows 10 computer it played without incident. Thoughts?
Note: I have gigabit wired ethernet so highly doubt it’s actually a bandwidth issue not to mention always in the same spot. Would think it’s a file issue but as mentioned it plays fine elsewhere.
