Same issue here.
With my account it crash when i select a content. Tried on Firestick and Sony TV.
Tried with other home account and everything is fine.
Was watching stuff without issue 4 hours ago and that suddently happened.
Hoping for a fix soon. In the meantime the we can use the “Guest account” workaround
I’m getting the exact same issue on Shield and my Android phone.
I was able to watch shows up until about 90 minutes ago, then suddenly it crashes when I go into the same series or most others.
It seems to be working fine on web.
ETA - I just tried watching something from a friend’s server (same series) and it works fine. He runs Plex in a Docker container, so this may be related to running Windows for the server.
I run Plex in a Docker container on unRAID, still having the same issue on all my Android devices. Unfortunately, I think it’s an Android / client-side problem vs a server-side problem.
Ah, ok. Was just a thought. Guess I was only getting lucky with items on my friend’s server.
Hope they get this fixed sooner than later.
same for me too, all applications close and restart after few seconds. tested various server versions with various app versions and none work. only web access works
