Nvidia Shield Plex on same network not visible in Plexamp player list

I am running Plex 8.16.0.24021 on an Nvidia Shield. And running Plexamp on an M1 Macbook air.

Unfortunately, when I click the remote player icon in Plexamp it does not show the Shield Plex as an output option.

On the same computer, I can see the Shield player as an option in the Web UI running in Firefox.

I’m very confused why these two players see different sets of remote speakers when running on the same computer.

Plex for Android has a bug in its remote controller functionality which makes it incompatible with Plexamp.
