Plexamp Remote Control Problem

I recently got a Plex Pass so I could try Plexamp; love it so far but I have an issue I was hoping someone might be able to help me with.

I’m trying to use Plexamp on my iPhone to remote control the Plexamp player on my Mac. Neither Plexamp client seems to be able to see each other.

If I use the standard Plex player, everything works fine, each client player can remote control any other. This would appear to rule out network problems. Checking the logs I can see:

WARNING - DEVICE: Player connection didn’t work for iPhone: connect ECONNREFUSED

In Plex I know I have to set ‘Advertise as player’, but this option doesn’t appear to be in Plexamp.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Plexamp v3 doesn’t yet have the capability to be controlled remotely.

That would explain it then! I could have sworn I had read Plexamp could do remote control, and I assumed the ‘choose player’ menu meant it could. Thanks for clarifying.
