Just today my plex on my shield tv won’t play certain H.265 movies, the screen just won’t play. It stays at a standstill. But when I check my server dashboard, it shows the movie playing. Also some h.264 movies won’t start unless I fast forward the movie. Furthermore I’ll try to play the same movies on plex on my Note10 or Samsung TV and they both play fine. Anybody else having this issue or any solutions?

I don’t have much expertise in this area, but I did find a report on reddit where the problem was caused by having a TrueHD 7.1 audio track selected. They switched to DTS 7.1 and it worked. Possibility?
No the audio files aren’t TrueHD…that’s usually caused when your receiver/soundbar/tv can’t play the TrueHD format. But in my case I can. Plus the videos I’m experiencing this issue currently are with AC3 audio tracks.
