I am having an issue where playback will not begin, just a spinning circle, but I never get an error message. It will just keep spinning for minutes if I let it. If I change audio track from TrueHD to AC3, playback begins immediately. However, TrueHD audio direct plays on similar content (direct playing both video and audio) with no issues.
I am using the 2019 nvidia shield pro. I’m using high quality HDMI cables (48gbps) but as I said earlier, I’m getting 4K/Atmos playback on some files so don’t think its related to cables. Audio is going to Sonos Arc.
This is a new issue as well on a Shield Pro. Everything had been working flawlessly up until perhaps last week or so. PMS indicates nothing is playing. The logs don’t necessarily suggest there’s any issue as well. Was on 9.0.5.something and just updated to 9.0.6.31998 with no change.
I’ve just signed up for the beta so as soon as it comes through, I’ll update and confirm. No idea if 9.0.6 is the beta or not but not looking promising.
