NVIDIA Shield, PMS not showing "TV Shows" directory on NAS

I’ve run into an issue with the new PMS update for the Nvidia Shield. When adding the NAS to the device, it oddly doesn’t show two out of my 14 shares. Coincidentally, they’re named “TV Shows” and “TV Shows iOS”.

This is making it very difficult to add my TV series. All other shared media directories show fine (Movies, Music, Photo, Video).

Anyone else experiencing this?

…total stab in the dark here. Do any of the ones that work have spaces, or is it possible that’s somehow a contributing factor?

There are threads about NAS issues on the NVIDIA SHIELD board, you might want to check them out. I know that spaces in directory names at the root seem to cause problems, but if the root share is a single word then nested directories seem to be found just fine. For example, you can’t see TV Shows\Seinfeld, but you can see Plex\TV Shows\Seinfeld.

Hi guys, any clue as to how I add the NAS shares on my network to my Plex server on NVIDIA SHIELD? I also just installed the new PMS update, but as far as I can see, I can only browse the internal memory of my SHIELD device - not network shares.

What am I doing wrong?

What NAS are you using? Have you added the NAS share in the Storage and Reset settings?
