NVIDIA SHIELD TV Pro transcoding Opus instead of EAC3 results in 2.0 audio

Server Version#: 1.32.3.7162
Player Version#: 9.24.2105

MDE: Cannot direct stream audio stream due to codec truehd when profile only allows opus

On Roku app, when I play TrueHD audio, it transcodes (correctly) to EAC3. But SHIELD app is transcoding to Opus which results in (poor) 2.0 audio.

If I enable “optical” passthrough (even though I use HDMI) it will force to transcode to AC3 (which is better than Opus here) but then I can no longer play native EAC3 content.

edit: When playing the same content via KODI app thru PlexKodiConnect add-on, the audio is Direct Play from Plex, but outputs through my TV correctly as EAC3. So it does seem to be that the Plex app is the problem here.

Is there any way to affect this behavior / restrict what formats Plex chooses for transcoding?

Seems like this is not a great place to seek support on this kind of thing

Ples support is a SHAME.

Any fix for this ? I am getting it with some of my videos where it said Direct Stream for video and transcoding EAC3 to Opus. My other streaming devices play it fine but the shield doesnt

Thanks
