I have a non-standard setup, (well assuming very few people have blade servers, ssd based NAS devices, and 40gb networking.)
Im looking into the NVIDIA transcoding options. Though I have a limitation as to the card I can put in the blade server. So this is more of a technical limitation question.
Most of the nvidia cards I have found that will fit in the blade pci-e slot are showing between 4 and 48 cuda cores. Will one of those be worth adding to improve transcoding? Right now it is all cpu based and has some issues on larger files when trying to transcode.
Im assuming more cores are better but is it even worth it to put a 24 or 48 core card in?
