I have recorded numerous broadcast TV programs over a year or two with good results.
Occasionally, there are some programs that won’t record. I normally record the Late Show on channel 38.1, new shows only, but sometimes they won’t record and don’t show up on the DVR schedule but in the guide, it says “Recording Scheduled”. I changed from new shows only to all shows, with the same effect.
There are some shows that I have never been able to record, although I can watch them on live TV thru Plex on my TV via Roku, I schedule them to record new and repeat airings, they don’t show up in the DVR schedule, but in the guide, it says, “Recording Scheduled”.
On rarer occasions, I click on a movie to record, I fill out the Record Options dialog box and it doesn’t mark it for recording, doesn’t give a message, and just doesn’t do anything.
How can I debug this?
I’ve downloaded the logs but not sure what to look for.
