Besides these forums, is there any other official support channel or bug tracker for Plex Pass users?
I’m encountering numerous issues with Live TV which have now been present for many PMS releases, and based on the number of related forum posts, are affecting other users too.
Almost all of the threads reporting these issues go unacknowledged by anyone from Plex before eventually getting closed automatically due to inactivity, which is frustrating, as we’re then left with no idea whether or not they’re being picked up/worked on.
besides the support documentation (which many forget about), the community forums are the only available interactive support.
the best way to get help is to create a topic in the appropriate forum, provide as much details as you can, along with logs and screenshots reproducing/showing the problem.
the more clear and understandable the information provided is, the more it allows a wider number of people to pitch in and help.
Thanks for clarifying. Unfortunately, the fact that a significant number of reported issues simply get ignored makes it difficult to justify spending the (sometimes considerable) time required to collect the detailed debugging information necessary to provide useful reports. Especially when others have reported the same issues countless times already.
Even a “won’t fix” response would be preferable to the radio silence.
