So I’m finally taking the “full leap” and will be using PlexAmp exclusively for my music needs. Especially since CarPlay is working now.
Just wondering if any of you users/devs have any tips for those coming from the MacOS/iTunes world?
I’m not really interested in downloading my complete music library to my phone or iPad, but I do however have a few favorite albums and artist I would like to keep for long drives/traveling or when offline. What limitations should I expect in this regard?
PlexAmp seems to be a huge upgrade from the old MacOS/iTunes way of handling music, so I’m really excited to see where PlexAmp goes in the future. So big thanks for making the music listening experience interesting again!
Good choice I’d say doubt you’re gonna regret that.
I’d say no limitations really. You can download up to 24 hours of an item. The items being artists, albums, playlists and even radio stations. And you can have as many of them as you want. It works really solid in my experience.
Yeah the smart playlist, artist radios and other aspects of PlexAmp that actually help you discover new songs in your library is one reason I really wanted to switch to PlexAmp. Not often do you get a music player that helps you discover new songs in such a helpful streamlined way. I’ve already discovered some hidden gems in my library!
So as of right now I’m just discovering how to navigate and use PlexAmp correctly. No complaints so far and seems to be a job well done
I will report back if I have any questions or run into any issues, but so far so good. Thanks again for your suggestions & tips!
