Hello everyone, I have finally learned how to export the subtitles from a Blu-ray to a format that Plex can recognize. Now the question is, How can I make it so that it will be available to my friends and myself on other devices? I feel that there must be some setting I didn’t notice, but any help will be appreciated. I am running my server on Windows at the latest version of the server-client.
Example: When choosing the show “JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure,” if I were to select the Japanese audio, I can click on subtitles to find my English file(for that episode, of course)
Keep in mind that the above method only reliably works with text-based subtitle formats.
If your extracted subtitle is still image-based (as is usual on DVD and Blu-ray), you better mux it into the video file.
