I got a new S7. When I use the “OK Google, search for Futurama on Plex” voice command, it does not open the Plex app, it just does a google search. However, it works for other apps like “OK Google, play A Tribe Called Quest on Pandora”. Is there a list of Plex compatible voice commands? It just doesn’t seem to work at all with Plex aside from “OK Google, open Plex”.
I do not think Plex has implemented the hooks needed for “OK Google” to work. I tested it as well on my new phone and it did not work but I was not at all surprised. What would have surprised me would be if it did work.
Actually it does work or it used to work on my previous phone nexus 5.
It was enabled back in version 4.5
The Plex app has hook for doing a search. You are correct that it does not appear to be working now. Thanks for the report.
