I have a strange issue with disappearing “On deck” category on my Philips Android TV. My QNAP server works great - on Android phone, iOS, Web … I see the On deck normally and as before. But on my Android TV it just doesn’t load - it only shows categories and plugins. However, if I clear the cache and re-login it shows On deck, but only for the first time. As soon as I turn my TV off and on again, the On deck disappears.
Same here.
Also, after the app crashes for some reason (power failure, or force stop) when you restart, nothing appears except the top bar. I need to sign out and in again to fix the issue.
I mentioned this in another thread, but the workaround to this (for me, anyway) is to disable autologin. Just login with your pin each time it’s needed, and everything seems to work fine.
Yeah, same issue here, so annoying. phone app and computer interfaces all work nicely, but android (sony bravia) shows only categories and plugins. will try the workaround but that is not a real solution to the problem…
How do we get this logged as a bug with the Plex devs?
It’s great that there is a workaround (thanks for providing!) but it’s very annoying - perhaps there will be no interest/resolution because of the UNO builds?
Same problem. Will not load libraries, though I can search for media and it will find and play it. I can clear the cache and force stop the app, but it still will not load libraries on startup. Plex works just fine on Android mobile and Roku 2 clients.
