What is "On Deck?

I recently discovered this information on your support site.  I don’t understand it nor how to use it. Can’t  find anything else about this.

Would like it if someone could clarify this for me since I use Plex mainly to keep up with all my TV series.

I have not noticed anywhere a menu that has On Deck. Sounds like a good feature that I could make use of.

You may have a favorite TV Shows you watch regularly. You might also like to know what's been Recently Added to the Server at a glance. The Server keeps track of what TV Shows you're currently watching and adds them to a handy quick-access menu called On Deck. On Deck is smart too. It includes the next available episode for a show after you've finished the previous one–great for TV Show marathons! If the next episode isn't available yet, the show will disappear from On Deck, only to re-appear once the next episode has been added to the library.

so say you just started watching a show. when you finish episode 1, if you have episode 2 it will show up up on the OnDeck area of home screen so you do not have to dig through menus to find that episode. whe you finish episode 2 then episode 3 will be presented

or if you do not have episode 3 yet, it will still be added to the home screen when you get it. 

it will also have episodes and movies you have only partially watched

My screen does not look like either of these.  I am pasting a copy of mine  Hope you can read it.  Why is mine different?

What client are you using and where did you download it?  That looks nothing like Plex
