SSH to a Synology NAS
First fix the IP addressing.
To use SSH, the NAS user must be a member of the administrators group.
- Login to DSM
- Synology Control Panel → User & Group
- Edit the desired user
- User Groups tab
- Add to the administrators group and Save.
Also, port 25 is a bad choice. It is reserved for SMTP (e-mail). If you were to run an email server on the NAS then there would be a conflict with SSH traffic. If you want to change the port number, pick an unassigned or unofficial port. See List of TCP and UDP port numbers.
Download & run DBRepair for Plex Media Server on a Synology NAS
