I’ve been adding friends no problem and giving them access to my library.
Today I added this new friend and I have no options to give them access to my libraries.
I see you have two servers named DuXXXXXlix
One hasn’t been seen for more than 10 month!
So maybe your user got the wrong server?
Do you want me to remove the old server?
And if so, then deshare, wait 10 min, and then reshare
Yes I have one server I have not used in a while. It has basically been decommissioned.
You can remove that one if it helps the situation.
This doesn’t seem to be on that user’s end, more on mine. For some reason when adding them as a friend, it gave me no library access options.
To add, since you can see my stuff :).
On my friends list, it is the account with the name shelly in it that doesn’t allow me to have any library access options.
Just to add, on their Plex Account, they don’t seem to see anything from my end as well. Not even my name.
I don’t see anything obviously amiss with your or their account. when you click on them on the friends list on your phone you don’t see the Library Access button?
When on your computer do you see them at https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/users-sharing
That link you provided did it. Apparently there is an additional step when adding a friend and then granting access. For some reason my past friends it seemed I can do it all in one step.
Just for the record,then what I can see is what’s registered on plex.tv
I can’t access your server, nor see what’s on it!
