Purchased Plex for $5 on iOS device (iphone 12 mini). Still getting 1 minute playback error after signing out then back in, reinstalling app, and restarting phone.
If I sign into Plex on another iOS phone (also an iPhone 12 mini) am able to play music without restrictions.
Tried using the “restore purchase” option but it’s saying “no previous purchase found.”
Is there anything else I can do to get Plex to allow me to play music for more than one minute?
Because you spent $5 and it works on one phone, I’m not sure what Plex would say, but if you scroll down to the bottom of this page and choose Billing Questions, you can contact them directly.
I’m only trying to use it on one iPhone. The second one was just for testing. The original phone that I purchased with never allowed me to play more than one minute of music.
“The purchase is tied to your Apple ID. You can download and use on any iOS device, when using the Apple ID that made the original purchase. The purchase does not extend to a different Apple ID, nor does it extend to other app stores, such as Amazon or Google Play.”
From the above, it sounds like Plex should be usable without a one minute limit on any iOS device that I’m signed into.
I’ll try contacting their billing support. Originally I tried getting tech support from Plex and there was a warning on the website saying I would be ignored and should go to the forum. That’s why I came here first.
