One of my tv shows will not play on my plex web app. It loads non-stop. The media will play though on my galaxy s10+ plex app. I tried on google chrome and safari browsers. But will not play.
All my other files play just fine on my laptop on the web app
I can send it once I get home from work tonight. I do not see a get info option while logging into plex web app at work.

I mainly use safari at home and only tried on chrome because I was at work. But almost all of my other media is Hevc and works perfectly fine on safari but if this one in particular is hevc x265 while the others are H264. Not sure if there is a big difference between those. Maybe that is the reason why it will not play on my safari browser
If that is the case, I will look at other plex players instead of using the web app
There is no such thing as âHEVC 264â.
H.264 = AVC
H.265 = HEVC
Browsers donât do HEVC, so transcoding is requested.
okay that makes more sense then. Ya I wasnât sure if those were the same. Then it seems like safari or chrome will not support H.265 for this particular media file i have

downloading the plex app for mac would fix that issue right?
