As title suggested. This only happens when there are multiple language in the same subtitle file, usually in a .srt of .ass file. Say it has both japanese and chinese subtitles in it, the japanese one will display immediately, but the chinese one will display after 3-5 seconds (not fixed), so if the subtitle switches relatively fast, the second track will not get a chance to be shown, or it was just displayed too short to be useful.
When using other players like VLC this is not an issue, and I have been experiencing this issue for about ~1 year since I started using Plex, so it’s not a regression. Hopefully this can get fixed soon.
